Established as Gunma Nutrition and Medicine in 1946, we started business from the manufacture and sale of starch sugars. We started the manufacture and sale of phenolic resin for industrial use in 1951 and changed the company name to the current name in 1953, Gun Ei Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. Since then, we have been providing diverse values to society, centered around both fields of chemical products and food products. Under our philosophy of contributing to a better society by creating solutions with our accumulated knowledge and ideas about chemicals, we as a company that supports the social infrastructure have earnestly worked on research and development to pursue reliable manufacturing.

Today, the world is faced with more diverse and complex challenges than ever before, including global warming and population decline. We will think constructively about the issues and rapidly and flexibly address these changes to promote the reduction of environmental burdens and the development of environmentally friendly products by contributing to the achievement of a sustainable society.

In addition, through continual enhancement of technologies that contribute to the solutions to social issues, we will aim to transform into a Green Chemical Industry (GCI), what we ought to be, and fulfill our responsibilities as a company that contributes to the sustainable growth of society. In addition, we will aim to continue to be an attractive company that is trusted by stakeholders through strengthened coordination with domestic and overseas group companies to build a richly diverse and vibrant system.
